Masala Peanut / giri pkora is a dry snack that is cooked by deep frying peanuts marinated in gram flour /besan batter. so i tried a very simple non-fried version of the same. it was so yummy that i had a plenty of them and that too without any regrets.
ingredients-
a bowl full of peanuts.
4 tsp of gram flour/besan
salt
pinch of chilly powder
1/2 tsp amchoor/dry mango powder
oregano seeds (optional)
recipe-
mix besan/gram flour with all other dry spices. keep aside.
soak peanuts in water for 30 sec. and drain.
put wet peanuts in a bowl. add beasn mixture and mix. as the peanuts are wet, the mixture will stick to them.
now take a non stick pan and grease it with a lottle oil.
put half of the peanuts in it and roast them till peanuts are crisp. take out in a plate.
roast other half in the same manner. not let all the peanuts cool down.
enjoy with hot tea or coffee.
you can store them for few days in an air tight container.
